Men’s Rugby Hosts Navy on Saturday
Cadet Mike Sheehan, pictured, and Army Men’s Rugby hosts its rival Navy tomorrow in the final contest of the fall season for both teams. The match kicks off at 3 p.m. at the Anderson Rugby Complex. The Midshipmen come to Anderson Rugby Complex with a 6-2 record and a #3 ranking by RugbyMag.com. Army Rugby, ranked #2 with a 6-0-1 record, won the Northeast Rugby Union Championship last weekend. Pre-game festivities start at Anderson Rugby Complex at 1 p.m. and the Cadet Parachute Team jumps onto Warrior Field 15 minutes before the start of the game. Elsewhere this weekend on West Point the Women’s Basketball team hosts Delaware State at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Christl Arena and the Women’s Volleyball team hosts the Patriot League Championships at Gillis Field House.
