Welcome to the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Renowned as one of the world's preeminent leader development institutions, West Point's mission is to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400 and each year approximately 1,000 cadets join the Long Gray Line as they graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.
Post Night for Class of 2012

The class of 2012 held their Post Night Feb. 2, with each cadet selecting where they will be stationed following graduation this May. Separated by Branch assignment, cadets took turn picking post assignments based on class rankings. See More Photos..
West Point Tax Center Opens

Col. Michael Tarsa, garrison commander, thanked Capt. Chris Hoelzer, his staff and the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate’s Legal Assistance Office for their work in preparing the West Point Tax Center for another season of tax preparation.
Last year, the center processed nearly 2,500 federal returns and more than 1,700 state returns. Hoelzer estimated the savings in fees at $416,000 and $2.07 million in refunds.Read more..
