Yankees Bring World Series Trophy To West Point Cadets and members of the West Point community snap pictures of the New York Yankees most-recent World Series trophy today inside Jefferson Hall. The Yankees brought the trophy to the U.S. Military Academy as a way of thanking the Corps of Cadets for its support this past season, the Yankees first in their new stadium. The Cadet Color Guard presented colors for the first game of the season, as well as the first game of each of the playoff series. In addition, the West Point Glee Club and Band have participated in pre-game events. The trophy was displayed to the cadets at lunch, shown to the Army baseball team before its public viewing in the library. (Photo by Tommy Gilligan/Pointer View)
