Vintage Photo
Gallery
Exhibited here is a collection
of remarkable photos extant in our archives. They date from
1865 until present day. Though the photos are certainly nostalgic to
behold, the gallery's purpose is to bring attention to the band's musical
heritage and it's role in national events.
It is not a complete pictorial
history. In fact, the band's inception (1817) predates
photography. Also, several fires during the past one hundred
years destroyed many photos and documents... The images scanned here
were chosen either for their historical significance, intriguing matter,
or detail. They were mostly donated by retirees or Band alumni.
