PURPOSE:

-To provide a ministry to individuals in the West Point community.
-To lead students to commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
-To nurture cadets in the Christian faith and life.
-To develop a high sense of moral values and a commitment to living by these values.

 
CADET CATHOLIC FOLK GROUP COL Andy Glen  aa1275@usma.edu
To provide liturgy-oriented folk music for the parishioners of Holy Trinity Chapel. In addition, the Cadet Catholic Folk Group also provides support for services and activities sponsored by the Cadet Chapel and other chapels off post when requested to do so.

The purpose of this group is to provide choral anthems and leads the Cadet Chapel congregation in hymn singing for Sunday morning and special holiday services.  Also provides vocal and instrumental leadership of Praise and Worship songs.  Travels to religious and military communities on the eastern seaboard to give concerts and participate in worship services.

To provide the West Point Most Holy Trinity parish with teachers, teacher aides, and a music team to support the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine program for parish youth from preschool age to high school.

-To provide choral music in support of weekly chapel services at the Holy Trinity Chapel.
-Travel to various religious communities and provide musical support for religious events.
-Provide cadets the ability to participate in religious services with civilian counterparts and broaden their perspectives.

The Purpose of the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at West Point is to express the person and claims of Jesus Christ to Cadets and members of the West Point community and to call them into a relationship with Him.

The FCA is a national organization that involves athletes at the high school and college level. The FCA at USMA is independent of any national authority and develops its program to fit the unique needs of the Academy.
 
WEST POINT JEWISH CHOIR CAPT USNR (R) Susan Schwartz (845) 938-5579
To provide an opportunity for Jewish Cadets to perform as a choir for West Point community services and, by invitation, to congregations throughout the USA. Its objective is to provide cadets an opportunity to experience other facets of Judaism through participation in other congregations as well as providing a valuable public relations function for the United States Military Academy.

To provide Christian fellowship for the cadets. To help develop important moral, ethical, and spiritual character traits which will be translated into day-to-day living as a member and graduate of USMA.

To present the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to members of the US Corps of Cadets through a program of small group Bible studies, individual discipleship, prayer meetings, and other special programs. This program is designed to give interested cadets an opportunity to evaluate Christ's claims and decide for themselves if they want to become Christians. It's also designed to help cadets who are Christians grow spiritually during their time as cadets.  OCF also exists to support the on-going ministries of the Cadet Chapel.
