Personal Radiation Detector: Study, Design and Build a Low Cost Personal Radiation Detection Device
If we know an area is hot then a badge or other detector is expected. However, we will not always know that an area is hot and the reasons are many. Why not offer a cheap radiation detection device that can serve the national and international public? - We will look at radiation detection methods and current technology
- Explore advantages of liquid and solid detectors for portability, cost and sensitivity
- Develop a small working radiation detector that is very low cost
- Don’t let another accident happen and say “if only the first responders had known”
