The Eisenhower Hall Theater invites all USMA personnel to submit their photographs for a Bicentennial Year exhibit planned in the Class of 1929 Gallery Oct. 13-Nov. 21 entitled "The West Point We Know." This will be a photo exhibit. No artwork, line drawings or paintings will be accepted.
Anyone residing on or employed at West Point, including cadets, military personnel, family members and civilian employees, can participate. Photos can be of people, places or things and should capture the essence of the present-day West Point.
Each entrant may submit up to four photographs, black or white or color (no slides) sizes 5"x7" up to 16" x 20". Framed, matted or dry-mounted photographs will not be accepted.
Photos will not be returned. They will become the property of the Eisenhower Hall Theater. After the exhibit ends, they will be transferred to the USMA archives for possible use in other academy celebrations.
Each photograph submitted should include entrants name and daytime phone number written in soft pencil on the back of the photograph. Photo credits will be given to all photographs selected. However, no titles will be used. This is not a competition and no prizes will be awarded.
Submissions should be brought to the Eisenhower Hall administrative office, bldg. 655, second floor, room 241 between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The deadline for submissions is October 5. Questions should be directed to Marion Voltaire at 938-2782.
