The USMA Jazz Knights and vocalist Staff Sgt. Laura Bradley will perform songs for lovers in a concert of big-band jazz Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. in Robinson Auditorium here.
Bradley will be featured with the band on classics such as "That Old Black Magic" and "God Bless the Child." Sgt. 1st Class Gary McCourry will perform a baritone saxophone rendition of "Teach Me Tonight" and trombonist Sgt. 1st Class Doug Remine will interpret Johnny Mandels "A Time for Love," arranged by Sammy Nestico.
In what promises to be a highlight of the concert, the Jazz Knights will showcase the talents of their new drummer, Sgt. Fulgencio Medina, on "Cubauza," an energetic Latin compostion by Michael Mossman.
