Bicentennial Stamp/Coin Unveiling

The USMA Bicentennial Stamp Subcommittee has been active for 10 years. These volunteers have focused their efforts on applying to the Postmaster General for a West Point Stamp commemorating the 200th anniversary of USMA. The stamp will be issued March 16 as part of the Founders Day activities.

The USMA Bicentennial Coin Subcommitte had similar duties in mind when they sought approval for the issuance of a silver commemorative coin to be issued at West Point on the occassion of its Bicentennial. The coin will be struck at the West Point Mint and release of the coin will take place March 16.

Watch for more complete details as Founders Day draws near.
