Army’s Garrett Shannon closed her sophomore campaign Saturday at the ECAC Championships with a fifth-place finish in the "B" finals of the 200-yard butterfly race. Shannon completed the three-day meet as the Black Knight’s leading scorer with 16 points.
Also scoring for Army was junior Monique Robertson, who posted a fifth-place finish in the "B" finals of the 200-backstroke, with a time of 2:11.35. Robertson’s and Shannon’s efforts gave the Black Knights 20 points towards the team score, which pushed Army into the upper-half of the ECAC standings.
Other top scorers for Army over the weekend were freshman divers Sarah Get and Kasey Kinney, who finished with 14 and 6 points, respectively.
