DID YOU KNOW THAT...

- ALL Clinic Closures: All outpatient clinics, Pharmacy, Pathology & Radiology will be closed May 24 and 27. The Emergency Room will remain open.

- Allergy patients receiving Immunotherapy at KACH will not be able to schedule appointments during the week of 7-10 May.

Please contact the Allergy/Immunization technician to make arrangements for treatment prior to clinic closure dates. Call 938-8476 for assistance.

- Did you know that non active-duty TRICARE Prime enrollees are able to use the Point of Service Option?

This option allows eligible TRICARE Prime enrollees to receive non-emergency, TRICARE-covered services from any civilian TRICARE-authorized provider without a referral from their PCM or an authorization from Sierra.

The costs to the beneficiary are significant. For outpatient care, the beneficiary must meet a $300 individual/$600 family deductible before TRICARE will pay 50 percent of the TRICARE allowable charge. There is no deductible for inpatient care, however TRICARE will pay only 50 percent of the allowable charge.

The law also makes the beneficiary responsible for paying the provider balance billing amounts up to 115 percent of the allowable charge.

For additional information, contact the Health Benefits Advisors at 845-938-4838 or visit the TRICARE Service Center in Highland Falls.

- Celebrate National TV-Turnoff Week, starting Tuesday and running through April 29, by first clicking your remote control to "off," then doing something better for your mind and body: read, exercise, go out and play with your children.

The U.S. Surgeon General and a variety of national health-promotion organizations endorse this week. For information go to www.tvturnoff.org or 800-939-6737.
