Registration procedures for West Point Schools

Submitted by West Point Schools

To register your children in the West Point Schools, you are required to reside in post housing at the U.S. Military Academy.

You must first visit the Housing Office, Building 626, to obtain quarters. Once they have assigned you a set of quarters at West Point or guaranteed you quarters at West Point within 90 school days, you may begin the school registration process.

If post housing is guaranteed to you within a 90 school day time period, please be sure you are in possession of a letter from the Housing Office that states you will have quarters within that time at registration. Your children may attend school during the 90 day waiting period; however, you are responsible for transportation during that time.

Students entering preschool must be age four by Sept. 1, and kindergartners must be five by Sept. 1.

Registration will be held Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Items required at the time of registration are:

SHOT RECORD
SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
PROOF OF AGE
REPORT CARD
ADDRESS OF FORMER SCHOOL
