House Watch = Peace of mind

By Jim Fox
Staff Writer

The House Watch program offered by the West Point Provost Marshal’s office can help post vacationers have a little more peace of mind while they are away.

According to PMO operations officer Capt. Mark Sheehan the program "is our way in helping to reduce unauthorized access to post quarters while occupants are away."

He said that your quarters would be routinely checked by a MP patrol while you are gone.

Sheehan advised those interested in signing up for the program to contact the MP desk sergeant at 938-3333.

He asked that the following information be available when you call:

A list of people who will have keys to your quarters.
Vehicles authorized to be parked in the driveway.
A date of departure and an expected date of return.
