Cadet Model UN team wins 2003 WorldMUN
The West Point Model United Nations team earned First Place at the 2003 World Model United Nations Conference in Heidelberg Germany.

Emmer makes history wins 301st, breaks all-time record
Army lacrosse coach Jack Emmer surpassed former Massachusetts head coach Dick Garber to become the all-time winningest lacrosse coach at the Division I level in NCAA history.

UN Tribunal to adopt cadet-developed prototype software 
U.S. Military Academy cadets traveled to The Hague, Netherlands, during spring break to demonstrate a prototype software system they developed for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.

April is "Child Abuse Prevention Month" in the Army. Child abuse prevention is a command priority at the U.S. Military Academy.

Federal civilian employees to get pay raise
Federal civilian employees at the U.S. Military Academy, paid under the General Schedule, will receive a 4.53 percent pay raise in 2003.
