“We are very proud of our success in this competition,” said Col. Deborah McDonald, West Point’s director of admissions. "We have shifted our marketing efforts in recent years to include more multi-media techniques which will appeal to technically savvy college bound students. Such changes in marketing techniques have brought our applicant pool to the highest level in over ten years. I am very proud of our professional marketing team in Admissions and for their continued dedicated support of West Point's mission."
The Admissions Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, more than 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
