ANNUAL WEST POINT TATTOO – April 18, 2008

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Military Academy will host the 28th annual Tattoo, Sunday, April 27, from 12:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Trophy Point Amphitheater.

The Tattoo will feature 15 pipes and drums bands including the Cadet Pipes and Drums and the West Point Band.  Several local bands who will participate include the Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes and Drums; Iona College Pipe Band and the West Chester Fire Fighters Pipes and Drums.

            The event is open to the public.  Guests should enter the academy through security checkpoints at Thayer and Stony Lonesome Gates.  All adult visitors will be required to show valid photo identification upon entrance to academy grounds.
