MEN’S TEAM HANDBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS – April 13, 2009

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The West Point Men’s Team Handball program won the 2009 Collegiate National Championship this past weekend at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

West Point continued its dominance at the collegiate level defeating the University of North Carolina 38-26 in the gold medal match to win its third straight title. 

The club hopes to build upon this momentum for the Open National Championships in Chicago, Ill., May 8-10, which will feature the nation’s 16 best teams.
