ARMY-NAVY SPIRIT ACTIVITIES -- Nov. 19, 2007

           

            WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Show your Army football spirit.  Join in the festivities as the Black Knights prepare to challenge the Navy Midshipmen during their 108th game Saturday, Dec. 1, at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Md.

            Several spirit activities are planned for the week of Nov. 26.

Wednesday, Nov. 28

Bonfire, 6:40 p.m.: Spirit rally for the football team with guest speakers and introduction of the team at Daly Field.  The marathon team departs with the game ball for Baltimore.

 

Thursday, Nov. 29

Team send-off, 3:30 p.m.: The entire Corps, along with the academy leadership, will cheer on the members as they depart West Point along Mills Road.

Women's Flag Football, 5 p.m., Michie Stadium

Men's Goat-Engineer football game, 6:30 p.m., Michie Stadium:  The top 20 percent of the Class of 2009 against the bottom 20 percent.  The US Army parachute team, the Golden Knights, will conduct a jump demonstration between games.

            The public is invited to attend any or all of the events.  Guests may enter West Point through Thayer or Stony Lonesome gates and are reminded that valid photo identification is required upon entrance.
