STUDENTS INVITED TO ATTEND WEST POINT PRESENTATION – Aug. 5, 2009

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Motivated high school students interested in top-tier college and career opportunities available from West Point and ROTC are encouraged to attend presentations Aug. 21-30 in various northeast locations.

Location dates and times:
            Friday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. at Syracuse University, N.Y.
            Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Rochester Institute of Technology, N.Y.
            Sunday, Aug. 23 at noon at Niagara University, N.Y.
            Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 4 p.m. at St. Bonaventure University, N.Y.
            Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at Penn State University, Pa.
            Friday, Aug. 28 at 4:30 p.m. at the Army Experience Center in the Franklin Hills Mall, Pa.
            Saturday, Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. at Princeton University, N.J.
            Sunday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. at Drexel University, Pa.

Representatives from West Point, ROTC and Army Recruiting will lead the program.  Those attending will learn about a full range of college options and the many ways they can become a leader of character as an Army Officer.  The presentation will include videos clips, briefings about ROTC and the West Point experience, advice on how to be competitive for admission and an informal question and answer period.  At the conclusion of the session, students will have the opportunity to speak individually with officers and cadets.
