Cadet-only hours end
Cadet-only hours from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday are no longer in effect for the Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center. The above policy will be reinstated at the beginning of the new academic year.Horse camps to start
The week-long summer horse camps at Morgan Farm are set to begin June 18 and continue each week through Aug. 3 (except for the week of July 4). Camps are designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders and also teach several horse-care methods. To find out more, call 938-3926 or 446-7325.Cadets need fishing licenses
New York State fishing licenses and USMA fishing permits are required to fish on any of the waters on the West Point property. Cadets are considered N.Y. residents while enrolled at the academy. Licenses and permits can be purchased at ITR, bldg. 695.
There is no license requirement to fish in the Hudson River from New York harbor to Poughkeepsie.

Swim areas open
Delafield Pond is open daily from noon to 7 p.m. Round Pond swim area is open weekends only until the end of June. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Round Pond camping guests may show their parking pass at Delafield Pond if they want to swim. Season swim passes are sold at Delafield Pond or ITR only. Cash or check will be accepted at Delafield Pond; ITR can also accept credit cards.
Orienteering event announced
A weekend orienteering meet at Winding Hills County Park in Montgomery, N.Y., June 23 and 24 features a regular local meet June 23 with white to green courses from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Various clinics will be offered in the afternoon starting at 2 p.m. On June 24, there will be a Score "O" event with starts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a time limit of 90 minutes. Meets are held regardless of weather conditions. For more information, call 496-5230 before 9 p.m.
