Concept: Korea, Battle for the DMZ

New this year! EVERYTHING will be located on the playing side of 293. (The eastern side.) There will be nothing on the Buckner side this year.

Registration and pre-reg check in: Friday night and Saturday morning. Friday night registration opening will be announced at the campsites, generally opens around 7PM. Registration on Saturday and Sunday morning will open at 6 AM.

Air/CO2: Air and CO2 will be located on the path leading up from the campsites to the field.


Paint: Sold at the registration booth. Paint can be bought on either Friday or Saturday night and picked up Saturday morning. You can keep the paint tickets with you and cash them in as needed during the day.

Dates/Times:
****Friday APR 11 2008****:
1400 - Campsite opened for campers and vendors
1900 –Registration open
2300 - Quiet time enforced

****Saturday APR 12 2008****:
0600- Registration, paint, and air will all be open.
1000- Opening Ceremony, player and safety brief (With UH-60 Black Hawk flyover, weather permitting)
1030- Staging for Game, players take the field
1100- Game on!
Dusk- Game end for Saturday. (Set time will be announced during players brief)
2300- Quiet time enforced

****Sunday APR 13 2008****
0800- Game play begins
1400- Game play ends
1430- Awards Ceremony and Prize Giveaway
1700-Camping area closed, all players must leave before this time

If you are caught with "other" paint, you will be escorted off the field and either:

  1. Buy the Field paint
  2. Don't buy and don't play

For those people hit with NON-Field paint, it does not count!!!!! If shot with NON-field paint bring yourself to a ref/player ref and be cleaned. This will immediately put you back in the game and also show us that someone is not abiding by the rules so we can investigate it. Do not wipe yourself... this will hinder our ability to catch the culprit

DO I NEED ANYTHING ELSE???

DIRECTIONS: DO NOT Go to the Gates at West Point!!
The event will be at TBD. on RT 293.

From the North/South: Please take Interstate 87 south/north to exit 16 and follow the signs to West Point (US 6)
Then at the US 6/RT 293 split (over the mountain) take the left fork (RT 293). Camp Buckner will be on the Left hand side.

FROM EAST/WEST: Take Interstate 84 to Newburgh and take the US 9W Exit and proceed south. After 15 Minutes you will be going down the mountain and at the base an exit for 218/293 will come up fast. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS TURN!! Take the left to go to RT 293 and after 2-3 miles CAMP BUCKNER will be on the right hand side.

ALL: RT 293 has only one flashing light. That is where Camp Buckner is at. Across the street is the playing filed. DO NOT GO ON THE PLAYING until the designated time
You MUST have all waivers and registration signed!!! If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian sign your waivers/registration.

  1. What type of paint are we using?
    You have a choice between Really good and Best..... PMI Premium and PMI Combat .68
  2. Food?? What is provided, who is providing and cost?
    TBD
  3. Camping, where is the area, what are the cooking/open fire/grill rules?
    There will be camping available, however no open fires are allowed (camp stoves are OK, though)NO DRIVING OF DOUGHNUTS IN THE FIELDS
  4. Rentals: How many rentals do we have taken up and how many do we have available to pass out?
    There will be rentals but only a limited number.
  5. Will there be places to use the Bathroom? How about running water?
    We will provide Port-a-Johns and Water Buffalo's on-site.
  6. Are there Hotels close by?
