The mission of Army Sailing is to provide an opportunity for Cadets to develop their physical well-being through participation in a lifetime sport in a structured, vigorous, competitive intercollegiate environment; to enhance the growth of Cadet leadership qualities through constant exercise of instant strategic and tactical decision-making in the heat of competition; to practice leadership and teamwork on a daily basis in a physically and mentally demanding environment; and to act as ambassadors of the U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Army.
