1LT John Walker

1LT John Walker is a 2006 graduate from the United States Military Academy and a four-year starter for Army lacrosse.  At West Point, Walker was a three-time USILA/STX All-American, having been an honorable mention pick after his sophomore and senior seasons. Walker was named first team All-American after his junior campaign, breaking a 22 year drought of Army first team selections.  A four-time All-Patriot League pick, Walker was named to the league's 2nd team three times and first-team in 2005.  He finished his career as the school's second all-time leading scorer with 209 points, just the third player in Army lacrosse history to eclipse 200 career points.  He also finished fourth in goals scored (125) and third in assists (84).  His 196 ground balls lists seventh all-time, just four shy of becoming the first Army player to record 200 points and 200 ground balls in a career.  He was also a finalist for the Tewaaraton Trophy in 2005 given to the most outstanding college lacrosse player.

Walker, a graduate of USMAPS in 2002, returns as an athletic intern for the lacrosse program under Coach Hansen.  He has one younger sister, Taylor, a younger brother, Austin and his parents, Judy and Wesley, still live on Long Island.
