Fort Monmouth, NJ – The Army Prep Men’s Basketball team officially opened its season this past weekend against Notre Dame Prep. After getting off to a slow start, the Black Knights went into halftime down 20 points. Early in the second half, the Black Knights started to heat up as they quickly cut the lead to ten points, but Notre Dame Prep would not look back from there.
The Black Knights suffered their first loss of the season 73-54 to NDP. In the scoring column, Jesse Steele led the Knights with 11 points, while Josh Johnson and Rob Brown tallied 9 and 6 points, respectively. The Black Knights will be back in action on Saturday, November 3, 2007 to take on Notre Dame Prep for their second game of the season.
