Each July the Army Men’s and Women’s Track and Field programs send recruits to USMAPS to participate in a 10 month developmental program. Army Prep has a four meet indoor schedule and a six meet outdoor schedule highlighted by the Carlton Crowell Open, the Army Open, New York University Fast Track Elite Meet, the Dick Shea Open, Army Prep Invitational, and the famed PENN RELAYS. Army Prep’s home track and field complex is located in the 800 area of Fort Monmouth and is scheduled for resurfacing in late October, 2007. Numerous cadet candidates have graduated USMAPS and competed for USMA head coach Jerry Quiller.
