Mike Gorman

“Stormin” Gorman comes out of Hartville, OH where he was a two-time team captain at Marlington High School. In his high school days, Mike battled his way to a Section Championship and a spot at the esteemed 2007 OHSAA State Championship Tournament. He also was champion at one of the biggest tournaments in the state, the N.C. Hoover tournament.
Gorman is a natural leader. He is very vocal and outgoing, and never steps down from a challenge or hard work. Gorman will be counted on this season, not only for his skills on the mat, but as a team leader. He has led by example by putting out maximum effort in the weight room, as well as coming in on weekends and staying late to improve his skills on the mat. Additionally, he has come forth with great ideas for team unity and cohesiveness, showing that his is a true team player. Mike is currently working on becoming a threat from the top position, and finishing every single shot he takes.
Personal: Michael Joseph Gorman. Birthday is 10 October 1988. Gorman says he came to the military academy because it is a great opportunity. He lists LeBron James as his favorite athlete, and says his favorite part about wrestling is that it is all on you, and you get out what you put into it. For personal goals, Gorman would like to improve his skills from the top position, and stay focused on school and time management. In addition, Gorman would like to beat three to five guys who are ranked higher than him this season.
