STUDENT PRESENTATION COMPETITION

New England Section

UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH OR DESIGN PROJECTS

TWELVE (12) FINALISTS WILL

MAKE ORAL PRESENTATIONS

15 MINUTES PRESENTATION PLUS 5 MINUTES FOR QUESTIONS

FACTS:

  • Student competitors do not have to be ASEE members.
  • The competition’s goal is to have the broadest possible representation from member institutions.
  • Cash prize awards for top presentations: 1st-$500; 2nd-$300; 3rd-$200 and honorable mentions.
  • Team project can designate one presenter or more.
  • Good projects are those that are unique in nature and lend themselves to being presented orally, supported by audio-visual materials, and/or demonstration, and report.
  • The effectiveness of the presentation and report are keys to reaching award status.
  • Winners will be selected based on the 20 minute presentation and report.
