Jewish Alumni Gallery

Dedication of the Alumni Gallery at the Jewish Chapel

Photo On May 30, 2002, following the Baccalaureate ceremony, Jewish members of the class of 2002 became the newest additions to the 11 bronze plaques along the walls of the Alumni gallery in the Jewish chapel. The plaques honor all the past Jewish graduates of USMA, and adding the names of the recent graduates joins them in the Long Gray Line. At the time of the dedication, there were 783 names of graduates from as far back as 1802. Each plaque holds 80 names, and space has been reserved for additional plaques. The project was funded by the West Point Jewish Chapel Fund with the approval of the West Point Jewish Community Council.
