  Dear Eric.

I am truly delighted to have learnt that the U.S. Military Academy at West Point will be celebrating its Bicentennial on March 16th , 2002. As we all know, West Point is one of the most prestigious military academies in the world. Its alumni are renown for their honor and integrity.
Many West Point graduates, from Thailand, have brought back with them invaluable knowledge and experience gained during their years at West Point, and started their careers as professional soldiers. Overtime, these officers have proven themselves to be highly competent and enthusiastic members of the Royal Thai Army. They also have played crucial roles in the development of our military organization as well as the nation as a whole.
On this very special occasion, on behalf of all personnel at the Royal Thai Army, I would like to send our sincerest congratulations and best wishes to the members, staff and graduates of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Please be assured that the Royal Thai Army will continue our commitment to build a stronger bond of friendship and cooperation with the United States Army.
With my warmest personal regards and admiration.
