Cadet Glee Club "in the movies"
Cadets record song for new Mel Gibson film
WEST POINT (9 JAN) - 50 members of the Cadet Glee Club
performed the vocals for an original piece that will appear
in a feature film March 1. "We Were Soldiers"
will be heard during the closing credits of the movie of the
same name that stars Mel Gibson and was directed by
"Braveheart" veteran Randall Wallace.
Wallace, who penned the lyrics to writer Nick Glennie-Smith's
piece were both on hand at West Point for the taping January 9.
