Bicentennial Communications Subcommittee

The Communication Sub-Committee is charged with supporting events that occur during the bicentennial year beginning in August of 2001 and ending in June of 2002.

This committee is developing a plan to "grip hands" around the world with West Point graduates, enabling them to celebrate Founder's Day together on March 16th, 2002. The sub committee is actively pursuing televised coverage of this event, which will compliment the planned live web broadcast of the festivities from Washington Hall. This sub committee's mission is to define the logistics of connecting hundreds of thousands of graduates so they will to be able to view this historic event live.
