MAJ Laura Weimer
Born and raised as an Army Infantry brat, MAJ Weimer was commissioned from USMA as a Military Police Officer in 2003 and attended the MP Officer Basic Course at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. At her first duty station in Germany, MAJ Weimer deployed to Iraq in 2004 as the 95th MP BN HHD XO and took over as a Platoon Leader in the 230th MP CO in theater. Within the BN, she next served as the primary BN S4 in Germany, and deployed a second time to Iraq in 2007 as the Battalion’s Chief of Operations. MAJ Weimer attended the MP Captain’s Career Course in Ft. Leonard Wood, and assumed duty as the S3 for the 701st MP Training BN. She then moved to the 92nd MP BN where she served as the Assistant S3 (Training) prior to assuming command of the 463d MP CO. In 2011, MAJ Weimer attended Graduate School at Duke University in Durham, NC prior to assuming duties as an instructor of Military Leadership and Sociology in the Department of BS&L at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2013.
