Marlow Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis is a native of Salem, Oregon. He attended the United States Military Academy and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Military Intelligence Corps on June 2, 2001.

As a Lieutenant, MAJ Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis served as an assistant S2 with 1-8 Cavalry at Fort Hood, Texas and deployed to OIF II as a platoon leader and collection manager with 312th Military Intelligence Battalion in the 1st Cavalry Division. Upon his return, he served as the assistant brigade S2 for the 1st CAV ACE.

Completing the Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Marlow redeployed with 1st Cavalry Division. He took command of E Co., 615th ASB Tactical UAV Company at Camp Taji, Iraq during OIF 06-08. After twenty months of command, MAJ Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis served as the aide de camp for the United States Army Security Assistance Command CG at Fort Belvoir, VA.

MAJ Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis completed his graduate training at the University of Missouri, receiving a Master’s of Education in Counseling Psychology.

Marlow is a graduate of the Military Intelligence Basic, Captain’s Career, and Electronic Warfare Courses.

Major Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis now teaches General Psychology for Leaders and Foundations of Counseling at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
