Respondus is a local desktop application, similar in function to ClassTop, that  offers a very simple and powerful test editor, and the abilities to create new assessments, import them from Blackboard or convert them from MS Word, store quizzes, tests and surveys locally, and move them quickly to multiple courses or sections of a course.
