Description

The iPad has been shown to have many features that appeal to its use in a classroom environment. Knowing how to use the iPad and its features though is just the beginning for its effective use.  During this session one such application of the iPad will be presented with the accompanying strategy of guided instruction. Instructor derivations and examples are done by means of an iPad connected wirelessly to the projector. Student’s work can be done individually or in groups using the same examples/questions as the instructor.  Once students grasp the ideas their iPad(s) can then be projected to showing the proper steps for additional problems. This frees the instructor to move about the classroom to assist other cadets. The software and tools being used will be presented and explained.
