Mobile App Contest Idea Submissions(Work in Progress)

Evaluation criteria

All submissions will be reviewed by (TBD). Submissions will be judged based on
  • Innovation
  • Technical feasibility
  • Preparation and presentation of the solution
The top five developers will receive an iPad mini and attend an award ceremony where the final winners will be announced.

Submission requirements

Submissions from single participants as well as from teams up to five persons are welcome. Team size is not a part of the evaluation criteria. Participants must read and accept the conditions of participation. Your submission should explain the purpose of your Mobile App. Please use an illustrative and attractive way to present typical situations of application, a proposal for the design, and the Mobile App’s major functionalities. Feel free to make reasonable assumptions about the technical requirements and data necessary for your application. You may choose one of the following to present your idea:

1. Technical-oriented:

Prototype
Develop a prototype of the Mobile App for iOS, and provide a brief description of the major functionalities.

Web-based Prototype
Develop a web-based prototype of your Mobile App and provide a brief description of the major functionalities.

2. Productivity-oriented:

Written Submission
In written form, thoroughly describe the concept of the application, providing possible application scenarios as well as pictures or screenshots of the Mobile App (a miximum of 15 pages, including screenshots).

Movie
Through production of a short movie, provide a strong, thoroughly describe the concept of the application, providing possible application scenarios as well as pictures or screenshots of the user interface (maximum length: seven minutes).

3. Entertainment-oriented:

Written Submission

 Thoroughly describe the concept and operation of the application, providing possible application scenarios as well as pictures or screenshots of the Mobile App (max 15 pages, including screenshots).

Movie
Through production of a short movie, thoroughly describe the concept of the application, providing possible application scenarios as well as pictures or screenshots of the user interface (max seven minutes). Other submission forms are also accepted as long as they are in line with the evaluation criteria stated above.
