Blackboard Workshop Descriptions

Blackboard I:  Introduction to Blackboard 9.1

Bb3.jpgIntroduction to Blackboard provides an overview of the most commonly used features of the Blackboard course management system. The workshop consists of a demonstration and discussion of the faculty and student interfaces and building courses. Participants learn the features and functionality of the software.

Blackboard 2:  Creating and Managing Discussions and Assessments in Blackboard 9.1

This workshop is designed as a follow up to the Introduction to Blackboard workshop. The workshop will focus on the use of asynchronous and synchronous discussions to enhance teaching and learning and provides an overview of the assessment and survey features of Blackboard. This consists of a brief demonstration of a discussion and an assessment created in Blackboard followed by hands-on experience building discussions and assessments.
