The keynote speaker was Shankar Vedantam.
Shankar Vedantam is a national science writer and, between 2006 and 2009, was author of the weekly Department of Human Behavior column at The Washington Post.
He is the winner of several journalism awards and is the author of The Hidden Brain: How Our Unconscious Minds Elect Presidents, Control Markets, Wage Wars, and Save Our Lives.
