Annual Academic Luncheon
2014 (11th Annual) Academic Luncheon

The luncheon took place Monday, 12 May 2014 at 1130 hours in the West Point Club Ballroom.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Todd Zakrajsek,
“Teaching: Joys and Challenges of the Greatest Profession”

Ellis_1.JPGDr. Zakrajsek is the Executive Director of the Academy of Educators in the School of Medicine, an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, and the immediate past Executive Director of the Center for Faculty Excellence at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also directs four National Lilly Conferences on College and University Teaching and Learning. Dr. Zakrajsek received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Ohio University. He has published and presented widely, including workshops and conference keynote addresses in 42 states and 6 countries, on the topic of student learning.
