Respondus® 4.0.2
U.S. Military Academy Campus License (for use by all USMA faculty)

Respondus® is an offline editing tool for creating and managing exams and surveys that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard. Exams can also be converted from Microsoft Word documents. Regardless of your experience level with online testing, Respondus can save you hours on each project.

You can download the Respondus® installer and a pdf file with installation and activation instructions as a .zip archive from the links listed in the upper right-hand corner of your MyUSMA page when you login to Blackboard. Save the archive to your desktop, extract the files and please read the instructions before installing.

Please note:

  • Currently, Respondus will not login to Blackboard because of issues with CAC authentication. That is being looked at by Respondus support, however, exams can be published by using the steps described in this document.
Retrieving reports or downloading data can be done manually from the course Grade Center.
  • The use of this application is restricted to USMA faculty and staff.
Respondus Inc. has released Respondus 4.0.2.

This update includes major enhancements, including the following features:

  • Question Lists now offer an “Expanded View” that displays a full-screen version of the list of questions
