Join us as we seek to live for what matters most.
Through various events during the year, Higher Ground seeks to promote the bonds of fellowship among all Christian Men in our community. Activities vary, but often include mountain retreats, fire side bible studies, and service projects in the surrounding communities. We also meet monthly for a bible study and fellowship breakfast. There is no limit to what God can do through those that love one another.
Higher Ground is a Christian men’s ministry that serves the West Point community and aims to foster an environment in which men may dwell together in unity as we seek to serve the Lord. Higher Ground welcomes all men. We seek to encourage and strengthen each other in three key areas -- the home, workplace, and community. The mission of Higher Ground is threefold, and is based on the following bible passage:
"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25
- Encourage men to love one another irrespective of socioeconomic, cultural, or racial differences
- Produce Christian growth and maturity through ministry, fellowship, and accountability
- Empower men, as men, to serve as Christian leaders in their home, in the workplace, and in their community.
We meet monthly on Saturdays at 0730
in the Post Chapel for breakfast.
