Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD)
The Sunday morning Religious Education program is held weekly from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Thayer Hall, third floor, west side. Classes are available from Pre-K to Adult, including special needs children. A nursery is available for volunteers and those individuals attending the Adult class. A registration form can be found here. Please fill it out and bring it to the Religious Education office located in the Cloister Room, or give it to RE records keeper, Denise Wambeke. Also, you can scan it and email it to Dr. Joe Lynch. Catechists are volunteers who teach the classes. If you are interested in being a catechist or an assistant, please contact Dr. Joe Lynch.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA program is the process by which adults become members of the Catholic Church. It is a multiple step process that takes several months to complete. The RCIA classes begin early September on Tuesday evenings, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Cloister Room. This is a combined class that includes both adults and Cadets. For more information, please contact Dr. Joe Lynch.
We have a brand new youth program here at MHT utilizing the Life Teen curriculum for high school and Edge for middle school. Our goal is for teens to find community as they grow in their faith, build relationships with each other and with Christ, and be confident in their identity as Catholic Teens. Edge meets Sunday afternoon from 3 - 4:30 and Life Teen meets Sunday evenings from 7 - 8:30, both downstairs in the Cloister Room.
Learn together. Pray together. Play together.
