Background

COL Lachance is an Academy Professor supporting our Chemical Engineering Program. His teaching responsibilities include chemical engineering and general chemistry courses. COL Lachance is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Chemical Society, the American Society of Engineering Educators and the Society of American Military Engineers. He serves on the West Point Energy Council, and is the Officer-in-Charge of the Cadet Spirit Band and Sprit Group.  His research interests include waste-to-energy conversions, reactions in supercritical water and kinetic modeling.
