COL Hann teaches Organic Chemistry and serves as the department representative to the Curriculum Committee. In addition to academic duties, COL Hann serves as the Installation Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) advisor to the G3/DPTMS in the West Point Emergency Operations Center. He is a member of the American Chemical Society, Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society, the American Legion and the National Rifle Association.​
