Professor Labare is the Life Science Program Director. He teaches CH101/102, General Chemistry, CH385, Introduction to Cell Biology, CH357, Introduction to Microbiology, CH473, Biochemistry, CH375 Introduction to Biology, and CH489/490, Individual Research. He is a member of the American Society for Microbiology. He has conducted postdoctoral research in biodegradation/bioremediation at Cornell University. His current projects deal with the inactivation of anthrax spores and other pathogens.​
