LTC Pearman teaches Instrumental Analysis, and serves as the Course Supervisor for Individual Research Courses. He is the current Director of the Photonics Research Center, supervises the Department Seminar Program, serves on the Academic Research Council, and as an alternate on the Admissions Committee. LTC Pearman's research interests include remote chemical sensing and laser spectroscopic techniques to include Raman Spectroscopy, Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy, Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy, and Hyperspectral Imaging.
