Dr. Washington is the Director of the Center for Molecular Science and the Course Director for Physical Chemistry I and II. He is the administrator for a 200 CPU high performance computing cluster, the support staff for hardware and software aspects of high performance computing, and department resource for computational chemistry. Amazingly, he finds time for exciting research in fundamental and applied physical chemistry which includes energy capture and storage technology , chemical sensors and nanomaterials.
