The club provides an opportunity for students of chemistry, chemical enginering, life sciences, and related disciplines to expand their intellectual, professional, and social interests. Events at West Point include monthly noontime “brown bag” seminars featuring distinguished chemical professionals from around the nation and club night meetings to inform cadets of the medical school selection process, summer research programs, and other professional opportunities. Social events at West Point include the faculty vs cadet softball game. The club participates at many events away from West Point, to include the annual "College Bowl," (a contest of science trivia), monthly dinner/speaker engagements at local resturants sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the ACS, and regional and national undergraduate research dinners and symposia.

West Point Pre-Medical Society
The West Point Pre-Medical Society is an academic club established with the intent to help prepare its members for medical school following graduation from the United States Military Academy. The club provides its members with an opportunity to learn about the role of a physician within the military health care system and work together to seek and gain admission to medical school.
