RNA Switch

chem_research_switch01.pngClassifying the binding between adenosine, its derivatives and RNA in order to characterize the optical, and thus switching, properties of the system is of interest. Studies are carried out primarily in silicio. Currently, we have data which indicates that the polarizability and hyperpolarizability of these derivatives are potentially different enough to distinguish experimentally.
