Dr. Washington is the Course Director for Physical Chemistry I and II and chemistry program director. He is the administrator for a cloud based high performance computing cluster delocalized around the US, the support staff for hardware and software aspects of high performance computing, and department resource for computational chemistry. Amazingly, he finds time for exciting research in fundamental and applied physical chemistry which includes energy capture and storage technology, chemical sensors and nanomaterials and molecular electronics.
