MAJ Goodin teaches General Chemistry I and II.  He has served in the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) operational assignments as Chief of Research Operations at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Operations officer (S3) and Branch Chief at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Chemical Defense and as a Principle Investigator research scientist at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.  He is a member of the Society for Armed Forces Military Laboratory Scientists (SAFMLS).  MAJ Goodin’s research interests include the genetic basis for acute mountain sickness, Yersinia pestis (bubonic/pneumonic plague) pathogenesis, and plague vaccine research and development.
