Dr. Woodka is an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering, she teaches Mass and Energy Balances, our introductory Chemical Engineering Course, as well as General Chemistry. She comes to USMA from the National Institute of Standards and Technology where she was a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research focuses on model membrane systems including structure, dynamics, and interactions with membrane bound molecules. Her previous research focused on the photocontrol of protein conformation through the use of photoresponsive surfactants, as investigated by Small Angle Neutron Scattering.
